Argo's Activity Committee

For years now most of the Argo social events are organized by the Activity Committee (AC). Being seconded to the clients offices, most Argo staff does not meet each other on a daily basis. In order to create a platform for getting to know each other a bit better the AC organizes social events after business hours, like drinks, diners and excursions. At the moment, Rutger van der Vliet and Maartje Koning are doing a very good job running the AC.
	Approximately once a month, we'll meet in a nice brown pub, a trendy lounge cafë or anything that falls in between, just to socialize or (if you like) to talk about business. The AC always tries to find a new location for their events and so far they have found enough nice pubs and restaurants around in The Hague.
Something we're all exited about is the field trip, normally to a location both interesting for its geology and for its good way of living. During the field trip we try to pay attention to all aspects of geology and make it as interesting as possible for all the disciplines gathered within Argo.
Next to geology, we plan hikes, see some of the country's culture. This can include anything from visiting a historic city (like Bath, UK) to tasting the products of the worlds oldest registered whisky distillery (Bushmills, Ireland).
